Best medicine for acne scars?

I had popped a lot of pimples on my forehead, and have many brown spots, thats what i mean by acne scars. Does Mederma actually help these brown spots from acne? or i saw walgreens scar gel too, and on the box it said it helped acne scars-- can anyone tell me if these 2 work? or have any other drugstore reccomendations specifically for ACNE scars?
