Best Lounges/Clubs to go out in the West and East Village in NYC?

I'm looking for a place to go out with some of my girlfriends. We are looking for something with a reasonably cover charge or no cover charge....or it least a place that is negotiable with a couple ladies. We like hip-hop/R&B with trendy atmosphere.
