best lens hood for a canon 50mm 1.4 lens?

i'm buying a new lens: the canon 50mm 1.4. i want to choose a lens hood, but i dont know whether to go with tulip or regular. i have read that some vignetting can occur with a regular lens, but sometimes, flare peeks through with a tulip. help me out?
