Lately I've been trying all the new "Italian" hotspots I'd read about. The other night, I returned to Nino's and realized that I don't need to try any other Italian places - Nino's is the most authentic, thoroughly satisfying and consistent meal I've had in a long time. The food manages to be both traditional and innovative at the same time. The special I ordered (a veal chop - out of this world) was so good I had to close my eyes while I ate!! My husband knows when that happens, I'm a very happy camper. He had the pasta, which was flavored with the just the perfect amount of saffron and garlic. And, the wine pairings recommended by the waiter were spot-on for each dish we tried. I am a very picky diner, and I have to say that Nino's was well worth the trip. I noticed 2 well-known Atlanta chefs dining there, as well!

The Hotel "Splendide Royal" in Rome is a luxury five star hotel, designed to be royal, luxurious and the same stature of the most accredited hotels in Europe. Located in the noble center of Rome, a city which was and is once again an intersection of cultures and communication.

After more than one year of skilled re-structuring, this 19th century palace - once headquarters of the Roman Maronite community and only a stroll away from the famed Via Veneto - is today a luxury hotel and, in its own way, a symbol of the changes taking place within the Capital City's fine tradition of hospitality.

Recently baptized as Splendide by guests themselves, the hotel is "toutcourt", full of that warmth and kindness found usually only among friends. Guests appreciate the richness in style and the spacious architecture - in distinct contrast with the typical present-day minimalism governing most new hotels' interior decor and design.

The rooms are characterised by the luxury and spaciousness reminiscent of the elegant boudoirs of the aristocracy, featuring sumptuous Baroque style decors and nuances; boiseries, fine draperies and antique furniture all creating an exclusive yet warmly welcoming atmosphere. Nearly all of the rooms have large marble bathrooms with precious natural light source and have large terraces with sweeping views over the city and the gardens of Villa Borghese.
