Harry Knowles (aintitcool) said recently he rates the script for The Mist.
As it's by Frank 'Shawshank' Darabont I don't need anyone to convince me it'll be at least half decent (and hopefully 18 rated!).

Braindead is a weired but good horror film , its on SC-FI channel tonight at 11:50, if you not seen it its well worth watching if you like your horror movies :D

I'll just add to my pervious post and say that "Vampire Effect" is amazing. Cool fights, cool vampires, two great lead females, an end fight I can't fault, and Jackie Chan makes two appearances in it ( one is a fight scene with vampires ).

Hammer's Dracula :)

Saw Blair Witch for the first time last night, don't know why I didn't see it before then, but it scared the hell out of me. Even when I knew it wasn't real, I couldn't imagine what impact it would have on the people who first saw it and really believed it was real life footage.

My favorites are Halloween , Zombie Flesh eaters. The Beyond, The Evil dead, Amytiville 2: The Possesion and The texas chainsaw massacre (Original).

The ones that scare me are more based on the supernatural and true storys. I like The Haunted (Based on a true story about the "Smurl" family. The Entity (based on a true story), Poltergeist and witchboard.

Upcoming Horror Films I have heard that are coming are The Wicker Man (Already being made), The Hills Have Eyes (Already in process), The Omen 666, Scream 4.

Old movies that I would recommend anybody give a go would be Black christmas, Death Ship, The Thing, Halloween 1 and 2 and Amytiville 2: The Possesion.
