Best guitar effects pedals?

I've got a bit of money and i've decided to spend it on some effects pedals (preferably ones that make really unique sounds). I've already settled for a MXR phase 90 and a Foxey fuzz, but i still need a wah, maybe a chorus, and definitely a distortion. I'm trying to get a sound very similiar to the pixies, so the distortion will probably be the one frank black uses (a TC line driver and booster) but
what about wah's and any other cool effects i may have missed out? Help would be really appreciated
 
Which effects you're going to use is all about the sound you're trying to achieve. There's lots of great stuff out there, but I have no way of knowing if you'll use it creatively. EHX makes a lot of really interesting stuff, and it's all really high quality. Pigtronix and Xotic make some really high quality stuff too.

As far as wahs go, I've never been impressed with most of the mass market wahs out there. I prefer the Morley out of all the stuff you would find at Guitar Center, but overall I like the RMC wahs the best. The Eqwahlizer is particularly cool.
