I own a 1967 Mustang Fastback with a 302 V8. I don't know a lot about engines and overhauling them, but I am going to remove my engine and learn as much as I can about it, while in the process of overhauling it.
I've been trying to find a guide or handbook (Haynes??) which will explain every detail of overhauling a 302. What's the best one out there to use..??

Cheers, Richard. haynes seems the way to go. My dad is an auto-body repairer, and my 2 best friends work on engines for a living, so they are doing all the work, but I'll be there every minute of it, studying each section of the job the night before we work on it, so I know whats involved. I might not DO the work myself, but I'll learn about it as it's done, and anything I do will be overseen by a pro. Yay!!
