the best group ever was the old metallica but the new metallica suckz balls i hate there new music so i'm always listening 2 the old cd's, i'm pissed cuz they suck :mad:
 
Id pick sanRABtorm by Darude over most of the 'rock' (chokes and spits out drink in true comedy fashion) **** thats being put out. Still, we need bad music to appreciate how good good music is i spose.
 
im really liking "rock" at the moment. its a lot better than the 90s bar radiohead and blur (possibly oasis). dance music, there are some classics, namely underworld- born slippy and zorabie nation..and faithless. but slamming the music you base your identity upon is a bit strange.

but back to the point. Metallica were great - new stuff just sucks and should be stamped on by a herd of elephants :D
 
You can't express the point that no band together today is better than Metallica at their worst. If your judging them strickly from an asthetic, opinionated position then their not at their best. Especially when St. Anger has to go head to head with Mast of Puppets.

And while not many people liked the new album, you have to appreiciate that Metallica just do things their way. They've been feircly independent from the fad culture since 1983 when "Kill em all" hit the shelves.

Every time some dip **** 13 year old says they suck balls, I just want to wrap my fingers around their throat and watch the life drain out of their eyes.

They clearly have no understanding of how well a band neeRAB to function to achive anything Metallica has come into. So they made a bad album, every band you listen to made a bad album and they've probably made a few.

And before some **** face jumps all over the Load twins, honest men will concede that while maybe not ....Justice or even the Black Album, they were still good albums, even if it wasn't metal or what people wanted.

I think St. Anger could have been better had Bob Rock did something other than cash his check from the band. In an interview he said "for the first ten years of my career I leanred how to produce, and for the last ten I've been learning how not to produce."

Why the **** would you hire him then...for the position of Producer. I don't know, wheres flemming?
 
I've never claimed to have liked new music. In fact the majority of my music is pre-millenium banRAB! Plus i like dance music because its just different really. Im a rocker, that doesn't exclude me to 2004 and 5 you know!
