So here's the thing. I am 100% Asian. My best friend is 100% White. Her eyes got swollen from an allergic reaction, causing her eyes to be much smaller than it normally is. When I walked in their house [to hang out] her mom was like "Did you see my Asian daughter?!" Then she kept saying "You can pull off half Asian [to her daughter/my friend" Then when we were playing a game with the family + her brother's friends she said "Your eyes ar getting more swollen.. Seriously you can pull off being Natalie's [Me] sister! you look Asian honey" & things like "Your eyes are going more Asian?" [All in front of me?]
I have heard enough from her with Asian eyes, and that time it made me realize how this lady would not shut up ha ha. Her parents are really loving and caring tho, but when it comes to race and ethnicities, it just get uncomfortable sometimes.
I have a low self esteem on my eyes. The size and the shape is fine. I just don't like it. I've considered plastic surgery maybe. As a thought. - [That does not mean I am going to do it though] & hearing her mom and my friend [yes she was also saying the similar things] has put a much lower self esteem.
Lol. It's funny to read, but when your in the actual sitation, it's pretty hurtful :/ . Hmmm. Am I being to sensitive? Or no? What should I do. Thanks
