Okay, so yeah. Me and my best friend are constantly arguing. We talk about nothing and we are perfectly fine, but as soon as anything relatively important comes up, I always end up arguing with her. I tend to be brutally honest, so I say the things that she doesn't want to hear, but she needs to hear them. I believe she reacts the way she does because she isn't used to anybody understanding her the way i do.
but we constantly argue. at least once a week, to the point where we will avoid talking to each other for a day or two. But we always both apologize. I don't want her to apologize, it isnt her fault...
I was thinking for a while that it may be because i kinda used to( and maybe still do, idk anymore) have a huge thing for her, and i told her. but anyway, she just broke up with her bf because he told her that he didnt want her hanging out with me anymore and she agreed. and then when she broke up with him, she told me she prioritized wrong. So idk.
Is there really any way we can stop arguing? We can't talk it out because neither of us really want to admit it to each other. It isn't like it puts out friendship in danger, but i dont like hurting her the way i always seem to...
to 'penisinyourface' - great suggestion. but... that is what i tried back in june, we were only just friends then. but. i hadn't talked to her for two months at all, and then our friendship skyrocketed to this level. if i try it again, i am almost afraid of how it would go this time...
