Best films of 2008

There's some shockers in that list.

Indiana Jones & the Refridgerator of Doom sneaking in at all is bad enough but Tropic Thunder riding high. :eek:
 
I've seen the following, there are a lot of films in that list I am bursting to see or are not out here in the UK yet!! Getting a few on dvd soon, can't wait to see them.

Burn After Reading - Very disappointing, wouldn't be in my best films of 2008

Mamma Mia! - Adored, deserves to be in the list

The Bank Job - Enjoyed this, I'm a sucker for anything with Saffron Burrows in anyway

Son of Rambow - Nice to see this in the list

Let The Right One In - Brilliant addition, shame a remake is on the way

4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days - It's good but it's not something I would watch again

Kung Fu Panda - Nothing special, the voice acting wasn't up to scratch for me either, especially Angelina Jolie's role

The Counterfeiters - It wasn't something memorable for me

Tropic Thunder - I enjoyed this comedy a lot

WALL.E - Totally deserves to be in all top lists, one of the best animations ever, and of the year

The Dark Knight - Better than Batman Begins for me, really really liked The Dark Knight

Iron Man - Fabulous and fun movie, obvious this would be in the list.
 
Best films of 2008: Sweeney Todd and The Dark Knight.

And I also think that Son Of Rambow, WALL.E and Mama Mia! deserve to be up there as well.

I've never heard of Boy A, is it any good?
 
It was good, but I can't remember too much about it.

I haven't seen too many from this year but Wall-E, Happy Go Lucky, Man on Wire and Burn After Reading were all fantastic.
 
Boy A is very good - it makes you think.

Don't seem to have seen as many films this year as I normally do, but top of my list has to be Sweeney Todd, In Bruges and Changeling.

Personally I found Dark Knight overrated.
