Or, ftp. Search for files at oth.net

These are both excellent options. Or so I've heard.. I don't, of course, actually download any mp3s, that'd be dishonest.

Torrents are an awful way to get music, you'll get a much better selection if you use use DC++ or soulseek.

The only thing about newsgroups are you have to get them within X amount of days, or the .nzb file will be no good.

oth.net sucks, half the time they don't even have the file plus its an ftp so speeRAB suck!

yeah...no. I've downloaded ~80 gigs of music (all APS, APX, or lossless) in the past few weeks...all from torrents. Doens't seem like an awful way to me.

I've used Ares for about 2 yrs and have never had a problem with it.. not one virus at all
