best degree for financial analyst?

i want to be a financial analyst. what degree is better finance or accounting? I know the obvious answer seems finance but analysts spend a lot of time dealing with spreadsheets and accountants are very well with that. Also i heard accounting majors can do anything finance majors can do and much more. When i search for financial analyst jobs some of them strictly require an accounting degree. thanks for the input
