As a student thinking of transferring to a CUNY college, there are couple things I've been wondering about. Anyone who's been a student of the departments listed below, or who's heard anything from friends or Professors, would be a great help to me with the following:
Which of the CUNY schools has the strongest Foreign Languages department? More specifically, for German, Japanese, or Italian?
Similarly, which has the strongest Classics department? Again, since the bent is languages--- Does one college in particular seem to have a stronger orientation in Latin or Greek? What about Biblical Hebrew?
How have you found the pacing for the above classes? Too fast? Slow? Too many students per section?
Finally, which has the strongest offerings in Chemistry or Biology?
