My daughter is 2 years old,, she does not have a runny nose and there is nothing wrong with her during the day. The Coughing only starts at night when I lay her down to sleep. She coughed for like 3 to 4 hours without stopping. You can hear that the cough is very dry and at some stage she started crying as if the cough was starting to hurt. What can I get to make this cough better? please if anyone knows about this situation I would be so glad. The chemist around here does'nt always listen to your story, the normally stop you as soon as they hear the word "dry cough" and just give you something so that they could look smart or they are just to busy to listen to your explanation about the cough your 2 year old have!
