my favorite has always been martin barre of jethro tull. hanRAB down,the most versatile rock guitarist around...and his tone is second to none.

I honestly don't think that there can be a #1 best ever, just simply because there are so many 'versitile' styles and tones and if you're a music fan, you know that if it sounRAB like nothing else... it has to be good. Originality FTW.
