i want to know what are the best (affordable mind you) cars that fit in the city and in winter. Cars that don't have trouble starting in cold weathers and shows the snow who's boss. Preferably small cars that aren't gas-thristy either and easier on the environment. If anyone has a top ten list that would be cool too.
to give you a brief idea about the surroundings i live in if it helps decide...
Montreal: gets pretty damn cold 2-3 months a year. When the occasional snowstorms comes around or when there's literally inches of ice covering the streets and sidewalks, the city workers seem to go on strike. Streets are full of like, 5 inch deep 15 inch wide potholes at every 5 feet (and there hasn't been a tradional war on this island since like 1760 between the french and the british, i swear). Its home of the world's most STUPIDEST, careless, impatient, try-my-best-to-run-over-as-many-pedestrians-as-possible mentality, me-first mentality, all-it-is-from-point-A-and-point-B mentality, stop-in-the-middle-of-the-road-and-block-everyone-in-back-of-me mentality, and must-be-pissed-at-all-times-at-all-cost mentality...drivers, world's capital. The traffic, but the traffic. And good luck on parking, every once in a while there will even be an idiot pushing your car-bumper with his car-bumper so he can squeeze in to park.
anyway, maybe quick responsive cars aren't such a bad idea to keep in mind neither.
thanks.
