Best Chevy pickup for teen girl?

I'm sixteen and have recently decided to get a chevy for my first vehicle. I've looked at a lot of different models and I can't help but love the models from the early fifties to mid-sixties, but unfortunately I have very little money. I need something reliable and gets reasonably good mpg. If color is something that matters, red is preferred. Thanks for all your help!

get an s-10...overall nice truck, good gas mileage. you are better off with ford but if you are wanting a chevy get an s-10, dont get the 4 cylinder though, they get stuck on wet concrete.....pathetic, only get the v-6.
 
Sam, look at Ebay motors. Try to find something cute like an S-10 with flare side fenders. If you find a 4X4 you'll be surprised how well they go in the snow.
