I don't know much at alll about cell phones and technology in general, lol! We now have Sprint and I HATE it because we barely get any reception at our house. One second I'll have fantastic reception, then I'll move an inch and lose whoever I'm talking to. Our plan ran out a few months ago and we've been lazy with picking a new company. I get overwhelmed by these things because there's so many companies with soooo many different plans and each plan has special features and all this crap and it makes me want to cry
This is something that gets me whining!!!! SOrry!
Anyway:
1-we live in Sussex (northern), New Jersey if it matters
2-we need 2 phones on the same plan (we won't have a problem picking phones so don't need advice on that)
3-I want texting but she does not
4-trying to go as cheap as possible-under $70-$80 a month would be fantastic
5-we only need about 600-700 minutes per month (shared, not per person)
6-would love rollover but it isn't a necassity
7-don't care about internet-don't need it and don't really want it unless it's seriously cheap
8-don't care about lots of special features, expensive phones, and all that-she just wants to be able to talk on it and take a few pics once in awhile, I just want talking, texting, and pics (but pics are with the phone anyway)
8-how do we know if it'll work in our house? How can we know this before signing a contract?
9-if we sign a contract and it ends up sucking at our house like Sprint, can we take it back the same day or next day and cancel it without any crazy charges?
I'd love it if you'd add whatever is important that I didn't ask-I'm seriously not good with cell phones and all that stuff and she's a lot worse than me with it. Thank you so much for any advice, suggestions, or whatever you can give
Oh, I had Nextel, but when I went to add her to my plan, they got us to switch to Sprint. Nextel worked great in my house...
