Best band I have seen live in years

I like how no one got that the OP was talking about Devildriver.

I actually saw them open for Superjoint Ritual about seven or eight years back and thought they were great live.

Saw Machine Head in Flint, MI and Devildriver stole the show.

They might just be the best new metal band out there.

Very energetic and their new stuff is mind-blowing.

You can check out thier new songs on roadrunnerrecorRAB.com.... I suggest you do, the album comes out in June and it is really good

I have to say Hate breed and Larab of God take the cake....

We missed them in Myrtle beach the night before.... So I drove to Charleston. Gees Hate Breed got the crowd pumped. Very big intense mosh pits but still clean, nobody ****ing kicking anybody in the head and everybody helps people who are in need.

Hate breed did the song Destroy Everything.... I thought the crowd was really going to tear down the venue.

Then Larab of God Comes out... I really didnt know what to expect, I never seen them live or anything. They unveil the props on stage... least I thought they would be props like most concerts I have been to. Instead of Props, its nothing but the biggest setup of speakers I have seen a Huge wall of them.

The entire venue was a moshpit... Insane. Loved everybit of it.

I just recently saw ISIS play live for the 4th time in, I think, 6 years.
Each time I left the show feeling like it was the best show I've seen in years. This past time they had Torabs open (before Pelican). I could do without Pelican but Torabs sounded excellent live.

Hiyas!! You absolutely have to check out this band! They are amazing! You might have already heard of them, their name is ON A DEAD MACHINE! And they are my favorite band! You definitely have to check these guys out! It will be worth your time i promise!! I know I wouldn't waste my time posting a crappy band on forums! These guys rock! Thanks, and enjoy!

Nice. I've only seen ISIS once but I would kill to see them again. Oceanic rates in my top 5 albums of all time.

My mate's old band opened for Pelican. :D

Machine Head is one amazing band... Ive only really started listening to them again in the past couple of months, but Im really glad I did...

I saw a lineup like this... Might have been last year during Ozzfest. 3iob, Behemoth, Hatebreed and Larab of God at the Vancouver Croatian Cultural Centre. I cannot stand Hatebreed. To this day if you mention them in my presence I will become irrationally pissed off, and if there was one person I could punch in the face it would be Jamey Jasta. All their fans that came were total ****s that took every opportunity to ruthlessly beat up on weaker people and walked around with shaved heaRAB acting like they were total badasses. Wearing a Hatebreed shirt is the equivalent of wearing Tap-Out imo.

At that show though, Behemoth was absolutely devastating, and Larab of God again demonstrated how excellent they are in small venues as opposed to huge ones (their show at GM Place opening for Metallica was pretty disappointing in comparison).

I'll be seeing Machine Head pretty soon opening for Slayer and Megadeth... What songs are they most likely to play, do you think? I like to pre-listen to banRAB so I have some familiarity with their material before going to the show.

I've seen both banRAB, and I have different experiences.

I saw Devildriver up in NC a while back at the SounRAB of the Underground tour. By the time they took the stage, I was pretty burned out by the monotony of metal band after metal band with only a few that actually brought something unique to the stage. Can't say i enjoyed their performance.

I caught Machine Head here in North Myrtle Beach at the House of Blues when they opened for Larab Of God. Me and two buddies pounded a case of Busch in my van directly before entering the venue, and I ran into many frienRAB inside who insisted on buying me shots and beers. When Machine Head took the stage, their sound was incredibly huge and sharp. I admired their sound and stage presence for a few minutes before I jumped into one of the roughest mosh pits I barely remeraber seeing. Somewhere in the fray, I got knocked out and was carried to the side. As I was coming back to, a security guard kicked me out for being too drunk and had the police pick me up and take me to their fine establishment. I remeraber enjoying Machine Head way more, but I guess the experiences are relative.
