best ap us history book?

"United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination" by John Newman.
Just look for the book with the stars and stripes gracing the entire cover.
You can probably find it for cheaper on amazon than on the actual publisher's website (AMSCO if you're interested).
But this book is great. I heard it's actually used by some schools as the textbook itself. My teacher thought it wasn't detailed enough for that but he did agree that it was the best book out there for review.
