I prefer shounen anime over shoujo anime, but either one will do.

Anime that contains any the following genres: Action, Supernatural, Horror, Military/Police, Psychological, Drama, Comedy, School

Any shounen anime similar to Code Geass, Death Note, Bleach

or

Any shoujo anime similar to Clannad, Marmalade Boy, Ouran Host Club
