The ultimate owners of the companies--the shareholders--come from any number of different countries, there are no restrictions on the percentage of shares owned by shareholders in one country vs. another, and in fact, shares of all four companies are held very widely among people throughout the world.
I know that the first three originated in the U.S., and Toyota originated in Japan. What difference does that make NOW?
