Benefits of buying a new transformer for my pc.?

So i brought a transformer earlier today for 159 dollars. My question is, what does a more expensive transformer do compared to a cheap one(the one i'm using). Sometimes my cheap transformer causes the computer unable to turn on, but i can turn it on after i wait 5 minutes or so.
Well what i'm only using 1 harddrive 1 graphics card and nothing else.
 
Basically...for 159 bucks...you got raped! LOL
But the difference is that the one you got raped with has more power. The cheap one....well its cheap!
