BELL HD Upgrade Problem

PLease help. I have had a bell express vu for 7 years with no problem running standard. I have recently upgraded to HD, an installer put up the second lnb and ran the wires through a sw21 switch. My HD channels come in great, however I can't lock into sat 91 with the HD receiver. If I hook up to my regular receiver I get sat 91 fine with all of the regular channels... ANy ideas why I cant get the sat 91 with the switch?
 
Go to the satellite pointing screeen (menu 6,1,1) and click on check switch. Make sure the do the test to ensure that the receiver recognizes the switch. Once complete, you shouldn't have any problems.
 
You may want to check the amplifier as well. I've seen bad amps do the same thing.
 
There should be NO amplifier in a regular standard Bell TV Installation...

Sounds like a simple Check Switch as already pointed out.

If it was within the last 90 days and a Check Switch does NOT cure it, call back to bell, the installation is still under warranty.
 
as Pinza mentionned it to you, if you are still under installation warranty a tech will come if the check switch doesnt work... another way around.. press on the power button for a few seconds with the tv on, wait until the receiver turns off, it will go back on on its own, the tv will come back, run a check switch - menu 6-1-1 - when check switch is done, press on view tv from your remote control... that should do the trick.. if still not working, call bell right away. if you have been calling previously about the issue and still the same thing, call the technical department and ask for a supervisor right away.....a senior tech will assist you over the phone to troubleshoot it and judge if a tech needs to go there or change your receiver.
