Belkin Dongle and Palm TX

I have a Belkin Bluetooth dongle on my Packard Bell Win XP Home laptop and a Palm TX handheld. They used to talk to each other via Bluetooth. However when I tried today I needed to enter the PIN. I do not know what this is; don't remember having to do this in the past. Is there a way to reset the PIN so that I can get the devices to once again talk to each other?

Before your PC can talk to your TX over Bluetooth, they need to be paired. Turn-on Bluetooth on your TX and start a discovery process on your PC. After a while, your PC will show you a list of devices it has found. Select your TX from that list and choose to pair it with your PC. At that point, you will be asked for a PIN. just make one up and enter it in. You will then need to enter that same PIN on your TX to complete the pairing. Once the two devices are paired, they should talk to each other without requesting a PIN each time.
