anyways, you people always say "but its lost in translation! they were not children, they were adults!"
However you all miss the point.
Regardless of age, god decided one mans ego was worth more than human life (in plural). Correct?
And about this "lost in translation" business, it doesnt cut it.
The bible is either "the absolute truth" OR "lost in translation", "relevent to the times" or, my favorite "entirely metaphorical" (although what metaphores you are trying to represent with god condoning slavery & rape is beyond my understanding?)
