You can buy Prilosec over the counter. Usually this medication is locked up at the store and you just ask the pharmacy to get some.

You might be sensitive to MANY foods, which is why it would happen pretty much all the time. Hopefully later on when you get to see a doctor they can give you something that will help! For you, taking a preventive medication (such as Prilosec) might be more helpful then something you take to treat symptoms after it happens (more if you notice that certain foods are causing it).

Yours may be quite different than mine, but either way, belching is definitely annoying, especially when out in public. I used to have a difficult time with that at work, because I didn't want to do anything that people heard. For a while I kept getting 5 second or longer burps and would have to go in the bathroom for privacy!

Thank you for taking the time. I must share something with you, i was recommended KEFIR by a friend it is the good bacterial cultures which apparently help with many ailments. It is natural bacterial cultures, i take about 100ml's every morning and i've been taking it for 5 days now and have already seen a big difference. I strongly recommend it. i take the liberty brand you can find it at the grocery store in the fridge next to the yogourts.
Perhaps you would like to give it a try, check it out it's called KEFIR, all natural good bacteria no meds, no side effects, it really works. I hope it helps you, i have stopped taking the losec and i'm doing well, i can finally eat. lol

That's great! Perhaps I'll give that a try too. Anything natural that helps with a sensitive stomach sounds good to me. I would love it if I could eat some of the things that usually bother me. I haven't seen this particular kind, but I'll have to look for it. I know I can't have yogurt because I have a sensitivity to dairy, so this sounds good!
