okay so my son almost fell out of his crib (i caught him a second before he fell) when he was 13 months old and tried to climb out. so naturally rather then have him hurt him self i put him in a toddler bed. he's 15 months old now and adores his bed! he gets excited at nap time and bed time and will run and get in bed when i ask him to. he's slept so much better and is so much happier!
however i was talking about it on a discussion board and someone actually said that a 15 month old was much to young and should be in a crib until at least two! it just sort of took me off guard. i mean my child is in a toddler bed so he's safe. it makes me wonder.. does anyone else judge parents for putting their kids in toddler beds a bit earlier then normal? do you see where she might be coming from? or do you find this strange?
it feels almost like she would rather have a child be at risk of getting seriously hurt just so they fit her thoughts of what a child should do.
i don't particularily care.. im just curious as to what others think. i mean obviously i will do as i please with my son. if its a safety issue no ones opintion will matter to me.
