Being in the Air National Guard while attending a Community College?

Will the ANG pay for you to go to college, while working for them?

Im about a month away from graduating high school and i want my independence. Will the ANG pay for my college, and can i live on base?
 
I'm not familiar with the ANG college tuition programs, but as active duty I can get up to $4500 per year in tuition assistance. It pays 100% of tuition and I have to pay for books if they are not written in to the tuition itself. You want independance? Go active duty and you'll get some for sure :)
 
If I were in your sheos, I would go active. It sounds like you are wanting to get away from home, and also find a bit of steady direction. You have more options when it comes to living situations, pay, etc. if you are active duty.
