Okay last week my boyfriend’s family received a letter from the Navy informing us about his whereabouts, where to mail him, etc. with a little note from him saying he’ll be able to write on Sundays. Will he really have the time to write or do they only give these guys like an hour to write their loved ones something? And generally how long does it take to get a letter? It’s been three weeks and I haven’t received anything, even a phone call but I really don’t expect that at all until graduation. Should I expect a letter at all or should I not get my hopes up?
I'm not asking for the amount of time if he was just writing me, he has his family and friends too.

bear in mind your a girlfriend

hes being stripped down mentally and told to sever all ties that arent family

and thats you
your considered a distraction and basically you dont exist

he is considered single
by now you should have gotten something
get the address and write to him and see if he responds if not move on
he most likely has already

He will have plenty of time to write. The real question is will he choose to use it.
