I am a very deep person, I try to make everything I say come from the soul. I also believe in music. I play guitar and I'm very into singing. I write songs whenever I have drama going on, or if I feel the need to vent my feelings. When ever I say something meaningful, my friends just go "Wow Jordan, that was deep.". And it was! Thats why I would respond "Thats because I'm a poet". Then they just laugh and tell me that I write songs, not poems. I disagree. Songs are just poems accompanied by the invisible joy of music. Am I right? Or is there a difference between a song and a poem. They both come from the soul no matter what.
Being a song writer and being a poet are the same?
