I'm a 16 year old female and I am supposed to be getting a tonsillectomy. The date is not yet set but I've been looking up information on the internet about the procedure and most of it has scared me to death. I have had recurrent tonsilitis over the span of 4 years and I desperately need them taken out. I am in an alternative high school and I need to know how long I will be out of school and after that how long will it take me to feel at my best.
being 16 and getting a tonsillectomy, how long will I be out of school?
