Hello, Im about to finish University and begin some independent filmmaking work by myself at first to built a portfolio to pursue a professional filmmaking career. At the moment I am filming my first serious short film and I am using a Panasonic HDC-TM10 consumer camcorder which is quite good for its price and I'm pleased with it for the first project but obviously, its not professional quality and I want to get a proper(and yet within budget) equipment starting with a really good camera. After some research, I think a DSLR is the right way to go because of its portability, hybridity and quality and I think that my favourites are the Cannon 7D and the Panansonic Lumix GH2, with the latter more possible because of its much better price. Which one do you recommend? And do you have any other recommendations for a good and affordable (well within that price range) DSLR or are those two the best(for the price range)? Thanks

Oh, also (i dont know if this matters) but i am and will be editing on Final Cut Pro.
