Been Suffering of dizziness for the past few days

Well a few months ago I was having some dizziness for like a week.... My friend recommended to try and eat healthier and I did that and it seemed to work because it went away. But then few months later it came back and it's been happening for the past few days. I feel kinda light headed a bit unbalanced (not that much). It's definitely not vertigo because things don't spin around me. I've been feeling more tired during this time of dizziness like the last time I had it. Also, I do not have the feeling that I'm going to faint. You can call it minor dizziness but it's just super annoying. Also, I get a headache sometimes along w/ it. And when I stress about it, it just gets worse >_> In addition, tt does not bother me when I'm laying down and it's very slight when I'm sitting down.

Well I've returned to my crappy eating habits =p but however there may be other things that could be causing this. I've noticed my tinnitus got a little worse during the time I was a dizzy, so you think it could be an inner ear infection or something more serious? Or could it be that I'm not eating right? I'm really concerned right now. Help!

i would suggest seeing your physician- dizziness is incredibly frustrating to the patient (as well as the doctor) because there are so many reasons for a person to feel this way- it could be low blood sugar- it could be the start of an inner ear infection- it could be cardiac related or it could just be a bad case of nerves- if you do not get an answer from you GP see an ENT-

I went to the doc today and I had some blood work and an EKG done.... So now my doc is sending me to the cardiologist because my heart rate was a a little bit high at some points on the EKG, he thinks I may have been a bit anxious (i was nervous kinda at the time) but he wants to make sure everything's fine... You think anything serious is going on here because now im scared... >_>

Being anxious can actually cause dizziness! Unfortunately there are MANY causes of feeling dizzy, so it might be hard to determine exactly what is causing it. Hopefully your doctor will be able to help you figure it out! Do you happen to drink a lot of water? I know that not drinking enough water is a common way to feel dizzy. Inner ear issues can be a cause, as you mentioned, food or seasonal allergies (which can also cause the headaches), lack of good sleep, etc. are some other things to look into. I know I get pressure on my face and seem to get stopped up ears in the mornings (seems to be sinus issues) and that makes me really dizzy!
