Thanks for the encouraging worRAB after my relapse, but since we were burglarized on Monday, I haven't had the time to think about drugs, relapse, cravings, withdrawals, or virtually anything else! It's been a full-time roller coaster of emotions and support.

Since the incident, I have not relapsed any further than the three days with the Oxy. I haven't even had cravings or withdrawals. I'm back on track again. Staying busy is the answer!!

How are you today Denon? Now that the dust will settle will it be harder to stay on track? Let us know how you are doing

D

Keep up with trying to keep your mind off of things. You have to relearn to do things without the drugs.....thats the hard part. I had a hard time going shopping without a few hydros in my pocket, but I am getting more used to it.

Good luck with it and you're going to do fine.

You are correct. Staying busy is the answer! When my life was extrmely hectic, I could kick drugs without even realizing I was doing it, cause my mind was so occupied that it had to time to recognize te wd symptoms.

Its funny how the brain works. lol

So good to hear from you. I would say that I was sorry that things have been so hectic but it sounRAB like it's been what is helping you the most!!!

I still can't believe you were burglarized. What a nightmare! I am so proud of you though that you are back on track because most people use when they find themselves in stressful situations so GREAT JOB.

I am sure your wife is proud of you too.. How is she holding up since the burglary?

Just know I have been thinking of you and praying you are doing great and writing as you have such a talent. God really blessed you with that gift my friend.

Thanks for checking in. Hope to hear from you again soon.

Today is Day 5 that I'm back on track and now that things are somewhat getting back to normal, the cravings are inching there way back in. I'm going to go to my Family Doctor this week for my annual physical, plus talk about everything else. I'm going to be interested in looking at my blood work and compare it to last year's. Last night my abdominal spasms started for the first time since I stopped and they hit pretty hard and even woke my wife up. This morning I have the leg jitters.

I have a busy day planned for today and the next two days, so that should keep my mind off of the Oxy.

I've been continuing to do my research on Oxy cravings and a nurse friend was over the other day who is pretty well up on her drug knowledge and I educated her on things she didn't know about the whole opiate line of drugs. So, I think my education research is going good. I'll eventually write a paper or article on it.

I need to get back to Day 17 again - that's my goal!!
