Hi,
This is the first forum I've ever participated in for anything. I really liked what you guys wrote about and I can relate. The w/d's from suboxone are horrible ! I think they're worse than detoxing from hydrocodone in rehab. The few times I've tried to get off of this have all failed because I went too fast. The first time 5 days later I was just as sick as I was on day 1. You guys talk alot about tapering 1/2 mg every 3 weeks and the w/d's are minor. Can someone define minor ? I know it's different for everyone but can you clue me in in detail about how you felt ? What's hard about doing it slowly is that I still have the meRAB in my posession and I obviously don't have alot of self control because I end up taking them. I wish I knew someone who could hang on to them and only give me so much at a time. The Dr's office is not an option because once they give you an Rx for a certain amt. THAT's it. Even if you're trying to taper and see how it goes, if things are going bad you're stuck, they will not give you more at that point, and that scares me.
I'd appreciate any feedback you guys have. Also, does anyone know the impact of being on this for 6 years on withdrawal ?
