Been Listening to some new stuff..

I recently got a load of new cd's from my banRAB new singer and some of it has really influenced my playing quite a bit. First: Dead to Fall. I can't get enough of them right now. The Phoenix Throne is the only ablum I have listened to at all for the past three days. They've got a great heavy sound with real subtle intricacies that, being a musician myself....I always enjoy. Great band....for sure.

Second Darkest Hour. I got "Undoing Ruin" from our singer. At first I really didn't like them all that much, but once I listened to the entire album, I got really into it. Their riRAB aren't all that complicated, but some of their solos are pretty sweet. Definitely recommend them to anyone who's a fan of As I Lay Dying.

- Anything off their new cd is pretty good...minus Convalescence. I haven't heard much from their older stuff but what I have heard is good.

The new DTF album is a huge letdown to me.

If you like that though, check out their earlier work, Villany & Virtue and Everything I Touch Falls To Pieces

same with Darkest Hour. The new album is really good. But it can't touch the classics.
 
^I'll pick those up when I've got some money to spare. Right now I'm in 175 dollar debt to Guitar Center though.....so.....maybe you.....or someone else here....can send them to me???
