I'm re-doing my room for the first time in about 7 years and I need some advice on what kind of style my room should be.
I'm a 15 year old girl. My passion is music. My favourite genre is 80's-90's Alternative Rock and Grunge. I have a really artsy clothing style, and I love vintage looking things.
I have 6 posters of my favourite bands in my room right now, and I want to be able to hang them up in my new room.
I'll be getting dark wood furniture, but I'm undecided on the wall colour and bedding, etc.
I really really love the colour red and would love to paint my walls that colour, but i don't want my room to seem too overwhelming. What kind of bedding and accents in my room could help calm the colour? what shades of red would you recommend?
Also, what kind of lighting would you recommend? I hate bright lights and would like to keep them dim.
My room isn't super small or big, and I have a small window on one wall near my ceiling. (i have a basement bedroom) My walls right now are painted light green.
