One of my all time favourite films! A cult classic apparently..has anyone else seen it and appreciated it as much as me? There are some classic subtle lines in it

Needless to say anyone who likes this was appauled by the dreadful remake featuring the wooden Liz Hurley, not to mention that it was so far from the origianal story line i wanted to cry!!!

I agree. The remake was a very sad affair! Do you know if the original is available on DVD? Never seen it for sale anywhere.

Yes it is...I have the original on DVD which i got from Amazon...
I guess you could probably get it from somewhere else but i doubt a high street retailer unless you could order it.
I do hope you mange to find it and enjoy

With a dress like that though who cares about the film.

About the film.... well, i've seen worst.

If the most memorable thing about that film was her dress then it shows just what a pitiful film it was!!!

I liked the remake as well as the original. It was definately not good as the original but Elizabeth Hurley's various sexy outfits and Brendan Fraser's performance in all the different characters he played was hilarious.

The original is out on R2,but a new R1 release with interviews and extras (hopefully an improved soundtrack) is due soon
