I am 70% in completion towards earning an AAS in Global Travel and Hospitality Management.
I am a combat veteran using the 9/11 GI Bill, student loans. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA, and I have attended two other universities (traditional colleges). I am hearing some pretty awful things about Kaplan, although I have not experienced any problems with the university so far. I am becoming very uncomfortable with the value of this degree when I complete the program.
I don't expect to apply to Harvard any time in my life, but I would like to pursue a bachelor's in BA or hospitality at a more traditional institute. Is my Kaplan education going to mean anything when I apply for a job in the travel industry? Or should I earn the AAS, and THEN seek education elsewhere? Thank you
