Become neutral shifting from 5th to 6th?

Anyone has face this issue? I would say 70% of the time when I shift from 5th to 6th, it goes to neutral!!! Is this suppose to happen? I never know you can shift to neutral from 5th gear???
 
it's happened to me once while hard accelerating. I think it was 4th to 5th for me though.... but yeah.. I've heard these bikes hit some false nuetrals....

just make sure you give her a firm pull and theoretically it SHOULD be okay. Just gotta let the ole girl know who's da boss!!!
 
Yeah...I was testing it again on the way home when I manage to hit 6th gear...it went to neutral. I was pissed off...so I kept on shifting between 5th and 6th to hopefully make it loose....No luck...even if I pull up so hard, it still went to neutral most of the time.
 
How fast are you going when trying to select 6th gear?If its less than 100kph/60mph then you will not get a reliable shift because the gearbox isnt turning fast enough.
Its worse with a new bike and tight gearbox.
