Having seen Becks in the James Corden Sketch I think he could be a good actor actually. especially since his voice has sorted itself out a bit.

The original was bad enough, but at least had a bit of 'so bad it's good' stuff about it.

The original is a classic. A remake however is completely fitting of the industry today. I am sure these top executives must have their meetings and ask two questions only.

"Can we improve on the original?" Not a chance in hell.
"Do we really care?" Not a chance in hell.

The remake will be awful and Beckham will be as wooden as Heather Mills' leg. We all know it, let's not dick around.

Of the camp variety & seeing as the likes of Ashley Cole & Rio Ferdinand are bound to dick around in any remake I'd say the potential for similar hilarity is high.
