...actually get that much for it? 99 Civic EX automatic coupe with 98,000 miles. I checked the book value and it is a little over $6,100. What are the chances that I could actually sell it for that or CLOSE to that amount in a private sale and buy a Prelude? Im looking to buy the fast model prelude. THanks
It is very clean-excellent condition inside and outside (body is almost perfect)

well it all depends on the overall shape its in, you can go to KBB.com and find out different values it could be worth in different shapes like excellent, good, poor and so on, but 98,000 miles on a 99 model is pretty good, if your car is in great shape you might can get 5,500 for it but nobody usually gets the book value, you can start the price at 6,000 if its in great shape and then you can negotiate the price, if its in great shape i wouldn't take any less than maybe 5,000 for it if its hard to sell but really try to get 5,500
