Beavis and Butt-Head Return to Promote "Extract."

the music videos had some of the funniest jokes in the series. getting rid of the music videos would be a bad idea in my opinion, although perhaps limiting the amount of music videos in each episode would be a good compromise

One of B & B's post-1997 appearances that really stands out is their mock infomercial where they're being interviewed by Billy Dee Williams (yes, Lando Calrissian himself) about their upcoming DVD sets. I didn't even know that Billy Dee Williams was a Beavis & Butt-head fan to begin with.

Almost everybody that was everybody was a B&B fan back in the day.

The show, along with The Simpsons was one of the defining shows of the 90's.

How about 22-minute (sans commercials) episodes instead of shorts? Do you think that could work for Beavis and Butt-head?

I also remember them appearing in a SNL TV Funhouse short that involved college students asking Colin Powell questions. They appeared at the end.

Speaking of B&B supporters, I remember when MTV did a special on the movie, and they mentioned other supporters such as No Doubt and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Well it was sure one of my guilty pleasures back in the day. That is, until I started to admit my support with pride.

Hell, even Patrick 'I'm a Shakesperian Actor' Stewart has been known to LOVE Beavis and Butt-Head. If memory serves, he even predated the Butt-head laugh in one of the earlier episodes :).

And lets not forget David Letterman, who also if memory serves, played uncredited as Beavis and Butt-Heads father in the movie.

I think the music videos were boring/frustrating to a lot of people because they used to chop each episode up into such short segments and stick the music videos between each segment.... so just as you got a little bit of the story (such that it was), the episode would stop for a music video.

If they did the music videos at the beginning or end of each episode, instead of splitting the story up and sprinkling them throughout, I think they would have gone over a lot better.

Huh huh. Huh huh. Yeah. Or something. Henh. Henh. Come to Butthead.
