Bearded dragon illness?

Having bearded dragon issues. I think an answer as soon as possible would be most helpful. Current condition: can't walk, doesn't have enough energy to even eat, Black beard, legs curl up and can't grip basking log (back legs haven't been working at all), random big twitches (sometimes repeatedly, sometimes just once), and his tongue is constantly sticking out slightly. Sometimes he twitches and opens his mouth really wide. Living conditions: When we got him in August, he was relatively small so, stupidly, we got him just a 10 gallon tank. His daytime bulb was just a heat bulb for reptiles, we don't even think it produced the proper UVA rays. His tank temperature was 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit. His diet has always been crickets dusted with calcium powder and that's all. I have tried lettuce before but it seemed as though he refused to eat anything that is not alive. We recently realized that his bulb was not working well and not doing what he needs. So today, we got him a new bulb (100w) that gives off UVA rays (brand: zoo med). Just and hour ago, we purchased a 20 gallon tank and he basking under his new light right now. Random facts: When he fell off the log because his lack of being able to move his legs, he has eaten sand and I'm sure that, that could have something to do with his lack of eating. But, it just seems that he doesn't have the energy to eat. Like I said before, we have noticed that he was having a hard time walking and we looked it up. Matching up the symptoms with what he has, we have figured that he has a bone deficiency due to lack of calcium. What we have done to try to improve his health were things like spraying him with room temperature water and rubbing some calcium dust on his back. We just want to know what we can do to help him because he honestly looks like he could die any minute and we hate to see him suffer like this. I know the best thing we could do would be to take him into the vet but we really can't afford that. All we can do is continue to look for advice. Is there anything we can do? Thanks.
Never mind, he died while we went out for my boyfriend's birthday.
