I often beamed addresses (sorry - "contacts") with my M505. Oddly I haven't had anything beamed to or from my T3. On the T3 Desktop the 4 "old" conduits are marked (according to instructions) as "do nothing." Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Memos are the active conduits.
My question is: If someone (with either an older Palm or "newer" one) beams me an address and phone number, WHERE does that information go? Contacts or the old "AddressDB?" I'm wondering if that's the reason Palm included the old names on both the T3 and the Palm Desktop - but my addressDB is empty. Contacts obviously isn't.
If someone beamed me an address and phone number would that then enter the AddressDB and start creating records in THERE, or would it go to Contacts, or both?
I ask because I burn a weekly CD of Archive/Backup Folders but haven't bothered to include "User Name/Address, Tasks, Calendar," etc. I have two backups on the SDCard in CardBackup but don't keep a CD backup. I'd like to start today but am wondering if I should also look for the "other, older database" and copy that too for safety - again, right now it's empty.
Hope this isn't too confusing; wasn't quite sure how to word it.
