Hi i have an 8 week old beagle pup which we are house training using a crate.
He loves his crate and spend loads of time in there without being asked etc. Last night we put him out to pee before bed and then we shut him in the crate. He was fine no crying etc.
About an hour later he started crying & barking so i got back up and let him out to pee. He pee'd came back in, went into the crate and back to sleep. Same happened an hour later, then another hour later and then he was quiet until i got up at six this morning.
When i came downstairs he was wide awake in the crate quite happy not crying etc, so that makes me think when he cries during the night it is so he can go pee.
What i don't want to happen is for him to start thinking that everytime he cries someone will come let him out of the crate.
Should i keep letting him out to pee each time he cries, since he just goes back in the crate and back to sleep after?
Thanks
