I am going to hawaii for a mini vacation with my family and i was wondering what i can do for sprint workouts- like on the sand and does running them in your bare feet make a difference? i am training for track in the spring so i would like to take advantage of the sand while i have it. thanks!

Bare feet are great in the sand.

Sand makes running practically non-impact.

The resistance increases your workout by multiples. You can change the distance above the waterline to vary the resistance for what you want/need/can handle. The sand is firmer (less resistance) nearer the water and softer (more resistance) further up.

Barefoot for sure. This strengthens the smaller muscles in your ankles and feet.

Your workout should consist of starting out jogging then progressing to a full sprint. Holding the sprint for at least 10 seconds. Each sprint should be 3 seconds longer until your sprint is held for 21 seconds.

This is a great workout trust me.
