BBC2 now - Nigella Kitchen

I loved the shot of Nigella coming out of a tube station.

When was the last time Nigella travelled on the tube?

And Nigella looks incredibly hot for 50.

I love Nigella! :) I'm not necessarily a huge fan of her but I always use her recipes because they are so simple and incredibly delicious. Needless to say she comes across as quite protentious but her recipes are anything but that.

I cooked the thai chicken soup earlier in the week (it was on her website) and it was fantastic, except I used prawns instead.

I think Forever Summer was my favourite series.

I love how she's making beetroot soup while wearing an ivory white jacket! :D

Nah - food programmes are all about the scran for me..

Interesting camerawork though - all seem to be shot on handhelRAB..

I like Nigella. She usually looks great too - a little 'taut' in the face perhaps, but never mind. :D

The presentation was as reliably breathy and OTT as always, but would we want or expect anything else??! :p

Nigella Bites is probably my favourite of all her programmes, and also the Christmas Kitchen series from a couple of years ago.

I love Nigella. I can only hope I look that good at 50.

OH and I were laughing last night though when she was making the soup in her raincoat. We both agreed that after a night on the p*ss you don't mess around like that. Let's be honest, you just get a kebab, don't you?! :D

Bloody hell she looks amazing!

Didn't like the look of the roasted fish dish, but my son would probably love the pasta and salami dish she just prepared.

I do like watching Nigella but sometimes you feel it is a bit style over substance; can you really imagine enjoying munching on a prawn with its shell still on and wouldn't the roast potatoes she cooked with that dish have gone soggy after having the fish plonked on top and cooked again for 15 minutes. Also don't we all rinse cannes of tomato's out? I know I have for years and also adding the pasta water; I've known about that trick for years.

One thing I do appreciate about her cooking you can get an idea of how to do something and not necessarily follow a recipie.

I wonder if they employ someone especially to touch up her lip gloss during the shoot.

Blimey. Rather impressive dress at the end!

Nigella is great. She puts so much fun into life and her cooking. Her comment about simply seeing no reason for green peppers was funny and the comment about not cutting something in your hand was amusing too.
